Dhoom - 3

“DHOOM 3” in its early record-breaking start has already scorched a mammoth 68+ crores at the box office. The latest rumor during the rounds regarding the movie is the casting of the Queen of Bollywood, Rani Mukherjee in Dhoom 3 to be tentatively directed by Aditya Chopra. It is said that only Aishwarya and Uday Chopra have been retained from Dhoom 2 for the third Dhoom film. Things are getting bigger and time will tell if they are for the better for the series.

The film titled “NOVEL” is produced and directed by East Coast Vijayan. Jayaram plays the lead role in the film. South Indian actress Sada is ready to try her luck in the Malayalam industry through this film. The movie tells a sensitive musical love story.

College Kumaran

“COLLEGE KUMARAN” produced by Bency martin in the banner of Fairy Queen Productions, is distributed by Emil and Eric digital films. Mohanlal’s character in the film, Kumaran is a college drop out before he joined the army. The film also features Balachandra Menon, Janardhanan, Nedumudi Venu, Siddique, Harishree Ashokan, Saiju Kurup and many others in important roles.

After the hit movie “BHARATH CHANDRAN IPS” Ranji Panikkar has again scripted for his second directorial venture “RAUDRAM”. Superstar Mammootty plays the role of Assistant Police Commissioner. New comer Manju plays the lead heroine opposite Mammootty. This is a mass film with punch-lines and action, which Mamooty's fans are sure to lap up.

Dileep, playing the role of a journalist looks very different in his appearance with long straightened hair and thick glasses. Meera Jasmine as usual is natural in her role. “CALCUTTA NEWS” has a very good message to communicate with the audience, but has not fully succeeded in its mission.

Bollywood actor Atul Kulkarni shares screen space with Prithviraj in the new film, “THALAPAVU” by Madhupal. Thalapavu is the story of a naxalite leader played by Prithviraj. “ONTARI” is going to be the third film in the combination of Gopichand and Pokuri Baburao after Yagnam and Ratnam. Bhavna acts as the female lead in the movie. Songs by Manisharma have a commercial touch and are worth listening. The specialty of the film is that for the first time, a film made on Ee Taram Pictures banner was shot in foreign locations. Gopichand’s excellent performance along with handsome built-up body makes his looks romantic in some scenes along with the heroine.

King

Nagarjuna feels that December month is much lucky for him as most of his recent movies like MASS and DON are released in December. His next movie “KING” is to be released in December of this year. Nagarjuna and Trisha will lead the pair. Shooting of this film will be launched on April 7, 2008 along with the direction of Srinu Vaitla and production of Shiva Prasad Reddy.

Trisha’s fans are desperate to get the first look of the songs and the movie is especially after her glamorous performance in “Bujjigaadu”. The screen chemistry with Prabhas adds fuel to the fire.

Andamaina Manasulo

“ANDAMAINA MANASULO” is a Telugu film, starring by Rajiv, Archana Gupta, Sindhu Menon and directed by RP. Patnaik. The ‘blink and go’ guest appearance by R.Narayana Murthy is fascinating. Universal hero Kamal Hassan said that his film “DASAVATHARAM” would be ready for Pongal 2008 release. The shoot of Dasavatharam is almost over except for some patchwork. Kamal Hassan plays ten characters in this film. This breaks the record set by Sir Alec Guinness, who played eight characters in Kind Hearts and Coronets. Mallika Sherawat also works for this mega-budget film.

Robo

“ROBO” is a prestigious Shankar film with the acting of Rajnikanth. Aishwarya Rai has reportedly signed to join hands with Rajini. The director of the film has announced that Robot will soon be given a different name and will include a lot of visual effects. The movie is budgeted at Rs.120 crores and movie is going to make absolute sense for the costs involved.

Sultan The Warrior

"SULTAN, THE WARRIOR”, Rajini’s Tamil movie is a full-length animated film by his daughter Soundarya. The film is being made at a cost of $10 million by Adlabs, and will be released in 12 languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English. The film will have four songs out of which one will be an English song by a Western singer.

“BILLA” is the latest Tamil movie in Kollywood where Ajith joins hands with Nayantara. The film includes acting of Prabhu, music of Yuvan Shankar Raja and direction by Vishnuvardan. After the hugely successful Autograph, Cheran and Sneha join back again in “PIRIVOM SANDIPOM”. The film highlights the problem of a newly married girl who likes to live with many people but being forced to live in a separate house with Cheran. Comedy relishes well in theatre and the songs are ok. The story is a purely family story and can be watched by all adults with children.
